Marketing isn’t just about letting people know about who you are or your existence; it’s about giving them an picture of what you or your company stands for, how your brand adds value to your customers day to day lives, and How you are going to improve the quality of life of your community. And all that happens IF you do marketing the right way.

And marketing basically starts before creating the product, by first understanding the customers and the customers’ needs and that leads to a creating a product that fits with the customer requirement.

Marketing is also about sending the right message to the right person at the right time.

Marketing also means keeping an existing customer happy by regularly communicating with them so that they remain a customer for life. i.e Building Mass Trust with people.

The purpose of marketing is also to build a brand and to capture a position in the mind of the consumer.

Never let marketing become more important than the product as a great product will sell itself. Eg Apple, Nike etc

Most of the time a great product covert your customers into brand ambassadors and thus leading to a strong brand.

Marketing also needs to be looked at as most valuable investment in business as it gives direct returns.

As a founder of your business try to be a marketer yourself and this helps to build a brand quickly.
